coming home

It's definitely been a whirlwind of a week and I cannot believe I'm already flying back home. It was decided last night as a few of us girls went down to the mall and then out to eat dinner in the gaslight district that even if we hadn't learned a thing- or if we had learned too much- that the most rewarding part of this week was meeting other girls that share the same passion and love for photography that I do. That's where most of the learning came from- and it was so exciting. I will walk away with a handful of new friends and people I can go to for help or encouragement. And that in itself is priceless.
I won a shootsac and cover yesterday!!!!! My picture was chosen as the best all around picture for our second day of shooting and I was soooooo excited!!!- What a great honor! And I'm even more excited that I can now say that I won Aric something! Lol. I wouldn't have ever had the chance to be here without him, and there's nothing I could do or say to express my gratitude for the amazing man that he is-but i saved him $200 bucks on a shootsac!!! LOL
