emily + james | engagement

James is one of Aric's oldest friends. I remember the first time I met him, he was the sweetest and craziest person I thought I had ever met! ;) Aric has only ever spoken of James with the highest of opinions, and when he found out that James was proposing to Emily, he couldn't stop telling me how happy he was for him, and how much he deserved her.
We spent our entire Valentine's day this year with these two, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. It was just a blast, and I'm sure you can tell from the pictures that there was a ton of laughing involved in our day! :)
These two are getting married in Mexico in May!!! Talk about our kind of couple! Be sure that we will be calling them up in a few months for some pointers on planning a destination wedding!

sorry for all the teasers as of late- going through all these pictures and narrowing down our favorites to blog is by far one of the hardest parts of our job- I mean come on...look at all the fun people we have been working with lately... and imagine narrowing down 10-15 images out of 1000s...yes, it's hard. But we had to go ahead and share a couple favs from our engagement session on Sunday! We had a blast hangin' out with lacee & rylan, they politely laughed at all of our ridiculous jokes, and they were up for anything we had to throw at them! Aric & I are so so excited about finishing the real post for these guys. We had a blast hanging out with them today and we really got out of our comfort zone and tried some new stuff and we are so pleased with the results. weekend o' fun | teaser

This past weekend Aric & I went down to Albuquerque to shoot some engagement pictures for one of Aric's good friends, and also shoot some product/promotional pictures for his t-shirt company! Now obviously the new pictures we shot aren't up yet-because we just shot them! But as soon as they are, you can go check out the new shirt designs they have! They are really so cool! Everyone needs to buy one-seriously.
Anyway this is just a teaser of the engagement and the t-shirts! So come on back for more later! :)

in honor of | love

Happy Valentine's day everyone!! In honor of this special day-and because this past week I happened to get bored one night and spend a little too much time on a picture of my best friend, and because I'm tired of waiting for Aric to post his blog about his birthday-here is a little fun thing I came up with in honor of love.
Love never gets old to me. There doesn't seem to be a better reason to celebrate a holiday than for love, which is why Valentine's day would be one of my favorite's (not to mention all the glorious chocolates and cards and flowers that come along with it). As I mentioned before I edited this picture late one night because I had a cup of coffee way too late-so yes I realize it says "rude" twice-I'm just too lazy to go back and fix it now! :)
